Hon. MLA Abdul Sattar Abdul Nabi
Former Minister, State of Maharashtra
“I have been working day and night to ensure that the benefits of the various academic branches and courses run by our institution reach the poor and needy students. Not just within the taluka, but across the entire district, we are successfully operating various institutions ranging from primary to higher education. My entire executive board and I remain constantly dedicated to ensuring that students from rural areas receive the quality education they deserve.
Bridging the Educational Gap
When we began our journey in the field of education, we carefully analyzed the geographical, social, and economic conditions of Sillod taluka. We realized that the educational infrastructure was minimal, and the hardworking students of this area were being deprived of vital learning opportunities. To address this, we endeavored to make comprehensive arrangements for higher education right here in this region.
To ensure that students from rural backgrounds shine not only at the district level but also at the state and national levels, the executive board of Adarsh Education Society and I have worked tirelessly. Recognizing the immense need for accessible higher learning, we successfully established National Arts and Science College in the rural area of Andhari.
Uplifting the Grassroots
Previously, there was no proper system of higher education for students in the remote area of Andhari. Keeping this in mind, this senior college was established to uplift the educational standards that had been hindered by poverty and difficult circumstances.
Through my lifelong work in social service and politics, I am implementing various public welfare schemes to ensure the youth of this area become well-educated citizens. Education is the most vital component of this vision. To elevate our standards, the institution is implementing several student-friendly schemes, and I am committed to ensuring these benefits reach every section of society, down to the very last stratum.
A Shared Vision
It was our collective dream that students from the grassroots of this area should receive high-quality education. For the fulfillment of that dream, the Principal, Professors, and non-teaching staff of the Andhari college have provided—and continue to provide—invaluable support.
Thank you.“
